All About Your Window Wiper Blade Repair in Denver

Hi there. I’m Saul Reisman here at Saul’s Autotek.

Today, we’re going to talk a little bit about your Denver windshield wipers, the most common item we, as owners, forget on our vehicles here in Colorado.

Remember, in Colorado, we have 300 days of sunshine a year. That 300 days of sunshine a year also means we forget about these guys. All the time. Nobody mentions their wipers. Nobody checks their wipers. Many owners don’t even replace them. We see plenty of times where vehicles come in with cracked or damaged windshields, and we see that the wipers have actually been etching the glass into the windshield.

It’s getting to be that time of year, where these are going to be a bigger part of your life. In Colorado, we use a very specific washer blade assembly that’s actually an arm and a blade, available only by Bosch, that provides a spring mechanism to create greater clamping force onto the curve of your windshield in your vehicle. As different vehicles have different windshields, this truly helps get a better conform fit to keep your windshield clear.

Being that we see weather conditions from a hundred degrees to negative 20 degrees, the rubber that becomes very brittle and soft in these blades pretty much needs to be replaced seasonally. Wiper blades are very inexpensive. We charge zero labor charge to install them, and we’d be happy to apply them as a courtesy service on your vehicle the next time you come in.

Please remember to ask us about your wiper blades. We’ll be happy to check them for you. Thank you.
