Wheel Alignment

Experience a smooth, safe, and comfortable ride by getting your wheels properly aligned by our expert mechanics.

Serving the Centennial State Since 1989

Wheel misalignments can affect your vehicle's performance and efficiency and your safety on the road if left unresolved.

Poor wheel alignment not only causes crooked steering and excessive vibrations, but it can also affect fuel efficiency, place strain on your vehicle’s suspension, impede its braking ability, and accelerate the rate at which your tires wear.

To ensure that your vehicle runs as it should, it’s crucial to get your wheels regularly checked and properly aligned by expert technicians. Saul’s Autotek has serviced over 300,000 vehicles in the Centennial State. We have the technology, skills, and experience to provide precise wheel alignment services for vehicles of all makes and models. With us on the job, you can enjoy a smooth and safe ride.

Our Wheel Alignment Services

At Saul’s Autotek, we recommend getting your vehicle regularly inspected for a wheel alignment every year. Investing in this maintenance service can extend the lifespan of your vehicle, avoid costly repairs, and ensure safe driving.

With over three decades in the automotive service industry, our team of ASE-certified technicians has gained the required expertise to assess and resolve a wide range of wheel alignment problems. Our wheel alignment services generally involve:

The term “alignment” refers to how your tires point in relation to your vehicle. There are three main angles that make up the alignment:

1. Toe

The toe angle dictates the direction in which the tires point. Tires pointing inward have a positive toe angle (toe-in) while tires pointing outward have a negative angle (toe-out). Proper adjustment of these angles is essential in regulating suspension bushing, reducing tire wear, and ensuring stable handling.

2. Camber

The camber angle is the slope of the imaginary line that runs through the center of the tire. It tells you if your tires are sitting straight up or down and leaning in or out. When this angle is out of specification, it can cause abnormal and premature tire wear and limit your vehicle’s performance.

3. Caster

The caster angle dictates if the tire is farther forward or rearward when observed from the side of the vehicle. This angle affects the stability of your wheel speed, steering effort, and cornering ability. Unlike the first two angles mentioned, this doesn’t affect tire wear.

There are other angles involved with alignments. However, these are the most common for adjustment. Not all vehicles can have all of these angles adjusted on all wheels. Because symptoms are not always present when an alignment needs to be performed, we recommend including vehicle checkups in your regular maintenance.
