This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner 383 came to us from the original owner. Her father purchased for her brand new back when she was 16. She was able to drive it for five or six years. It started having some mechanical problems, and they couldn’t afford to fix it, so they parked it, so this car’s been sitting for 30 plus years. When it came to us, literally piles of wiring, mouse poop on the floor, unknown condition, everything a rat’s nest. Thirty-two years that it didn’t run on the road.
It spent five days here at Saul’s Automotive. We built a new wiring harness by hand for the vehicle, got it up and running, and got this car back out to drive. Now, this vehicle is going to get through emissions, going to be on the road, and be cruising again just like it was three decades ago, and all we had to do was get the wiring back in check.
